**** “Winning the Golden iPod propelled the visibility of Bus Stop Mamas. As a result, we are being approached by investors and are embarking on our first seed round.”

- Mary Kay, Bus Stop Mamas

Selection Criteria

BETA Showcase is a science fair for startups. A celebration of founders and technology where tech enthusiasts, reporters, investors, and the general public meet early stage technology startups.

REQUIREMENTS

Showcase participants include BETA Cohort companies and a select number of additional startups. Teams must meet the following criteria:

  • Based in Minnesota
  • Able to demo a fully realized product or service
  • Non-tech focused
  • Non-scalable

EXCEPTIONS

We understand that not all qualified startups are able to participate in the BETA Cohort. Exceptions may be made to accommodate teams wanting to participate solely in the Showcase.

We may bend the rules for:

  • Rapidly scaling teams
  • Product-based businesses
  • Other shiny things that are fun to demo live

Stay in The Know

BETA Showcase happens twice a year — one event in the spring and another during Twin Cities Startup Week. Subscribe to the BETA email to make sure you stay in the know!

Will You Be The Next To Hoist The Golden iPod?
